Flame in the Fields the wind is an old man creeping and bold he's silent and swift his blood runs cold Enough of your sorrow! Enough of your fear! Return to the green heart in the new frontier We've honored your gods far too long and now we sing the Earth's own song Wait for the rain cold grey clouds we raise our young strong and proud We fight a new war within our souls our hearts burn like a flame in the fields

Coven of the wolves He is father to the mighty wolves raising only grey sons Hidden deep in forgotten lands in caverns there he feeds revenge An army of silent predators a hundred thousand heartbeats strong To the cry of the midnight owl he sets his children free The coming of the wolves The coven of the wolves Skies once cloudy with industrial death Scarlet moon clear above the mountains black Hammer of hearts and steaming breath They thunder into nighttime fields To conquer this world of man a ravenous sea of blood and fangs Flames rise from once-holy spires to decimate their hollow lives! Pouring from blackend spaces between these towers of green Streaming forth in deadly silence tearing veins and ripping throats The coming of the wolves The coven of the wolves Take back their hunting grounds Reclaim their fatherlands Grey storm surges cloaked in robes of Mother Night Seething in silence Red eyes gleam burning fire Black and grey the horde comes howling with eternal glory skies once cloudy with industrial death scarlet moon clear above the mountains black hammer of hearts and steaming breath howling with eternal night to conquer this world of man a ravenous sea of blood and fang flames rise from once-holy spires to decimate their hollow lives!

The sky has not always been this way See them fall in drawings on cave walls from centuries gone their history fading Oh how they rose in grandeur and majesty! But their magick was too strong It dragged them down and they drowned in their own greed for more Their hunger for wisdom and the old ones they say that the sky has not always been this grey They held their words in their hands sent knowledge through sky and light but forgotten their Mother their place in the web of this ancient way A tenuous grasp of a small part of Nature and a future they'd never live to see Razed forests for towers but the waters came rushing in Oh how they shone in grandeur and majesty! but their magick was too strong it dragged them down and they drowned in their own greed for more and a future they'd never live to see And the old ones say that the sky has not always been this way Look beyond these sands my sons and gaze into the past centuries forever lost A time where seasons thrived in light of a brilliant sun But rang aloud a clamor of greed A foul and odorous blood they drained it dry and choked the light from their skies All reason came to an end while cowering in sterile tombs Their seasons came to an end This is the wherefore we break our backs to wrest life from this soil and attend to the beat of Her feeble heart I beseech that your sons will know as well
