A Boire et à Manger est un doigt d'honneur — je vais finir par croire que ses doigts sont tous des majeurs... — que Vaerohn adresse au black metal. Il fait du black metal bourré. Bourré de bonnes idées, mais aussi bourré tout court. Il a le coude léger autant pour s'enfiler des vers que pour jouer avec inconsistance : les Gnossiennes, "Otchi Tchornye" et Boby Lapointe se retrouvent là, méconnaissables. La batterie perd les doubles pédales. Poétique comme des élucubrations en état d'ivresse ! Jordan Vauvert
